Ben Madden
PRINCIPAL DIRECTOR | NATIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE
My name is Ben Madden, I am the Principal Director at Fine & Country Teddington and Hampton and the London Representative on the National Advisory Council for Fine & Country. I’ve been an estate agent for the last 16 years, covering West and South-West London property markets.
Over the last 16 years I’m proud to say the teams I’ve managed, in the businesses I’ve owned, have won more than 40 industry awards in areas such as Customer Service, Training & Development, Marketing, and of course, based on commercial business performance. Often such awards are based on feedback from previous clients and their votes, which has been both rewarding and humbling.
In 2021 I was very proud to have been recognised as the number one licensee globally, within the Fine & Country network, which offers services from more than 300 locations worldwide, delivered by more than 8,000 property professionals.
I've been a London resident for almost 40 years, all of that time here in West or South-West London. I attended Chiswick community school and I've played for numerous sports teams in the local area; I now live locally with my wife and our three young daughters.
My passion for property, and specifically exceptional property services, runs deep; I mentor a number of estate agents around the UK, in a bid to help them progress their journey to success, guided by a relative expert who has made all the mistakes that they can now hopefully avoid.
I recently launched #ProjectSidekick, which is a program and mentoring scheme designed to help the next generation of estate agents find a better way, and truly deliver exceptional service to the consumers of the UK. My belief is that we in the UK could do so much more to provide a world-class service to our buyers and sellers, and that we must re-image what property services professionals are capable of.
I take inspiration for what we do and how we do it from different sectors outside of estate agency, as well as from other areas of the world where I believe they take service more seriously. My why is very simple, it is to provide, and to continue to develop, a world-class estate agency service. I believe we do this by questioning what came before and always searching to find better, through innovative techniques and genuine high-quality, high touch point, service levels.
